20/4/2006 - Ayr Tour Itinerary

16/4/2006 - Ayr Tour Parents Meeting

All parents of kids going to Ayr are required to attend a meeting at KRFC clubrooms on Thursday 20th April at 7.00PM. Final travel arrangements, rooming schedules, itintery, and emergency contact information will be supplied along with answers for any remaining questions.

27/3/2006 - Ayr Tour 28th - 30th April 2006

Parents of all players going on tour must complete the attached consent form and submit to Allan Pettigrew by Sunday 9th of April. Download CONSENT FORM here.

26/3/2006 - Kelso Tournament Results

The annual Kelso Tournament was a great success, even catching a break in the weather! Visiting teams were Marr (all the way from Troon, Ayrshire), Jed, Gala and Melrose. Winners in each age group were as follows...

Thanks go to sponsors (Mr & Mrs Cooper), referees, coaches, mothers in the tea room, KRFC, bar and ground staff.

21/3/2006 - Race Night Update

Tickets for the Race Night fund raiser on Sat 15th april are priced 10 pounds each and will be available from coaches from Sunday 12th March. Money to be paid when picking up tickets. See attached POSTER for details.

21/3/2006 - Sponsored Cycle Proceeds

Some sponsor money has still to be handed in for this event, please collect and pass to Colin Gillie as soon as possible.

22/1/2006 - Fund raising, Floors Castle litter pick, Sat 28th Jan 2006.

We have a request from Floors to provide some litter picking labour in return for a generous donation to club funds. P6 and P7 only are to meet at the Rugby Club at 10am on bicycles (everyone with helmets!), we will cycle to Floors and be back for about 12noon at the Rugby Club. All equipment required will be provided for safe collection. Please wrap up well and bring suitable footwear - wellies/boots preferred!

22/1/2006 - Change to program, game at Dunbar 29th Jan 2006

Dunbar Mini Rugby have invited Kelso for a game on Sunday 29th Jan 2006. However, only P3, P5 and P6 will travel. Players meet at Kelso High School car park at 9am.
P4 and P7 will have training at 12noon to 1pm as per the program.

22/12/2005 - Somerfield Bag Packing Rota

Once again Somerfield Supermarket, Roxburgh Street, Kelso, have kindly allowed the Mini Rugby P6 & P7 players to assist the store in packing customers bags at the checkout on the days leading up to both Xmas & Hogmany. In return for this service the players usually receive generous tips, all of which are collected to raise funds for the Tour to Ayr in April 2006. Below is a rota for the players. As you will see the players will do up to 3 stints of 4 hours overall.
